About Medellin Venues

Medellin Venues is an independent English-language service that helps couples and organizers find the right wedding, corporate, or event venue in Medellin, Colombia. We are based in Medellin. We do not operate any venues ourselves and we are not a licensed real-estate agency.

The service is free for couples and organizers. Venues and planners pay us a referral fee when we introduce a booking that closes. That is the whole business model. There are no listing fees, no featured placements, and no paid promotions in our shortlists.

Why we exist

Medellin's largest wedding vendor directory closed in December 2025 and the English-language coverage of Medellin as a wedding destination is thin and getting thinner. Foreign couples looking to get married here in 2026 and 2027 have real trouble finding neutral, current information in English. This site fills that gap.

What we do

We keep a running catalog of the venues that actually deliver a destination wedding in Medellin. We ask couples seven questions in a qualifier and send back a shortlist that fits. We introduce couples to bilingual planners when the situation calls for one. We publish honest guides on cost, paperwork, and venue comparison.

What we do not do

We do not give legal, tax, or immigration advice. When those questions come up, we point you at bilingual professionals who do that work for a living. We do not manage weddings, plan events, or coordinate vendors on the wedding day; the planners we introduce do that. We do not fabricate reviews, testimonials, or venue capacities to make anything look better than it is.
